Creative Music Programs

https://www.creativemusicprograms.com/

Music classes have begun for all grades. The teachers and children have been very enthusiastic!  Watch for Bloomz updates from them!

Many thanks to Gary, who worked with Seth on the original concept to customize this program for our school, to Kate Pochapshy, who took on the task of writing the grant, to the SLT and the teachers who supported these efforts and were flexible regarding finding the time for these classes in their already busy schedules.

To the teaching artists, Dylan, Seth and Leithis.  And to the children, who bring their energy and creative spirits to the work.

Early Morning Reading in the Library

We will be reaching out to a small number of families to participate in an early morning reading program in the library, Aliceyn Heasely Literacy Coach and Dorothy Cantwell, Parent Coordinator, will be piloting a program designed to assist families who are struggling with lateness and attendance. We hope to incentivize early arrival by starting the day in a relaxed enriching way, and hope to eventually offer this program schoolwide.

Some teachers have made adjustments to that schedule.

This is a special day for children to share the work they are doing, and for the teacher, parent and child to discuss goals.

If you would like an interpreter, please let the teacher know!
