Happy Friday! It was great to see so many of you at our first indoors community meeting in a long time. Thank you for your continued patience as we continue to refine our procedures as the weather gets colder. And a big thank you to Susan and Jesslyn’s class for performing at community meeting this morning.
Next week will be a short but busy week with lots of learning still happening. Wednesday will be a half day noon pickup for all students, and there is no school on Thursday and Friday. We will reopen on Monday, November 29. We encourage all students to use the rapid COVID-19 home tests they have received and test on Sunday and Monday morning before attending school.
Please check the lost and found for coats and other missing items – they will be donated next Wednesday. The lost and found is located in the lobby.
We will continue to have outside dropoff, as well as outdoor recess and gym class. Please make sure your child dresses in warm layers so that they can be comfortable both inside and outside of the building. Please also label your child’s belongings so that they can be easily returned if found.
I hope you will join us next Friday for the PTA’s Holiday Bazaar. This will be setup in the lobby from 7:30am-4:00pm and you can shop for fun holiday gifts as well as purchase breakfast, lunch (for adults only), and snacks at the All Day Café. This is a great fundraiser and community event and I hope to see you there. For details please contact Pritsana at pritsanak@gmail.com and Kyle at kylehhepp@gmail.com
