Dear Families,

Friday is finally here, as is the end of January. Thanks to our Karate Club for their show at community meeting this morning!  And Happy Lunar New Year, we welcome the year of the snake!

CWS afterschool clubs end February 14 and the new spring afterschool clubs will begin immediately after midwinter break on February 24. Registration for afterschool clubs will open at 10am on Wednesday, February 5 on a first-come, first-served basis. You can view all of the club listings now on the CWS afterschool clubs page.
Separately from CWS afterschool clubs, the link for free Cirkus afterschool registration will go out on Bloomz on Monday, February 3 at 10am and will fill quickly. Cirkus for Grades K-2 will be offered on Mondays and Grades 3-5 will be on Friday.

Flu A and Flu B is spreading through CWS. Please test and treat your child as needed if they develop flu-like symptoms. Please do not send students who are sick to school! It is possible to get sick from a different flu strain after recovering from another.

Next week will be the CWS movie night in the auditorium

• Paddington 2 – runtime of 100 minutes
• Friday, February 7
• School lobby doors will open at 5:30pm with food for sale and the movie begins at 5:45pm
• *Movie night is free to attend. Food will be available for purchase to support the PTA.*
• This event is only open to current CWS students and their household family members. An adult 18+ must stay with their child(ren) the entire time. This is not a drop-off event.

On Wednesday, February 12 there will be school photo makeups, retakes, and sibling photos from 9-11am. You must register in advance to have your child’s photo taken on the 12th.

Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts on CWS on the annual school survey. A form went home that you can mail in the prepaid envelope, or you can take it online between February 10-April 4. Your access code is a lowercase “f” followed by your child’s nine-digit OSIS number.
