Happy Friday! It feels like fall, and our students are enjoying taking advantage of the changing leaves and weather. With this change in season has come more allergies and illnesses. We have multiple reported cases of both flu and COVID-19. Please continue to protect the health and safety of your child as well as our entire school community by not sending your child to school when they are sick. If you child is exposed to flu and/or COVID-19 they should wear a mask in school for five days and receive a negative test. Please also consider vaccinating your child(ren) for COVID and the flu. Doctors are expecting a stronger flu season than previous years since fewer people are masking.
I hope you enjoy school and teacher updates from Bloomz. Our teachers enjoy sharing what they are doing in their classes! While sending a Bloomz message is a good way to connect with your child’s teacher, they are not able to respond to Bloomz messages throughout the school day as they are busy working with your students. Please do not send time-sensitive matters to teachers via Bloomz during the school day as their phone notifications will be turned off now. You must call the school office with any same-day urgent issues such a change in pickup schedule at 212-614-9531.
Lost and found is in the lobby if your child has misplaced their coat, water bottle, or other items.
