Dear Families,

Happy Friday! A quick note that the PTA’s Holiday Bazaar with many local vendors selling wonderful items and the all day cafe is open until 4pm today (Friday) – stop by to check it out in the lobby! In addition to the Holiday Bazaar kicking off our Friday, we had a wonderful community meeting today. Thanks to Scott and Louise’s class for hosting with their play A River of Words!

There are lots of fun field trips and in-school activities planned for the next two weeks. As a reminder, we have school through Tuesday, December 23. Each day we are learning and growing together – please keep sending your children to school until winter break begins on Wednesday, December 24.

While gathering in school is a welcome joy, unfortunately it can lead to the spread of illnesses. We have had many confirmed cases of Flu A and Strep amongst students these last two weeks – please keep an eye out for symptoms and do not send sick children to school. As a reminder, children who have been ill with a fever must be fever-free for a full 24-hours without the use of medication before they return to school. If your child is ill, please let your child’s teacher know.

It’s cold outside! Our students will still go outside to run and play in the cold, so please ensure your student dresses in layers and wears a warm coat when needed. Please label their coats, sweaters, hats, and gloves with their names! If you’re in need of winter items, please let your teacher, Dorothy, Joyce, or me know.
