Dear Families,

Despite the snowy start, this was a great week at CWS! This morning at community meeting we hosted a Lion Dance in honor of Lunar New Year. Classes attended field trips, hosted writing celebrations, dressed up like twins/triplets, and celebrated the 100th day of school! 

Next Thursday, March 5 is a half-day with 11:30am pickup for all students in support of family conferences. Lunch will be served before dismissal, and there are no afterschool clubs. Family conferences are an important part of our curriculum. Your child should join this conference with you, it is an important way for your child to share their work, progress, and goals with you. Please look for a notice from your child’s teacher and sign up for a meeting time

Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts on CWS on the annual school survey. A form went home that you can mail in the prepaid envelope, or you can take it online. Your access code is a lowercase “f” followed by your child’s nine-digit OSIS number.

• Friday, March 13 – Schoolapalooza adults-only PTA event
• Thursday, March 19 – PROSE ½ day 11:30am pickup for all students
• Friday, March 20 – No school
• Thursday, April 2 – Friday, April 10 – No school Spring Break
• Monday, April 13 – School reopens
