Dear Families,

What a great winter week we’ve had! This morning we were entertained with excellent performances from the guitar club. Earlier this week, students in grades 1 through 5 went ice skating! 

Afterschool clubs: Fall CWS afterschool clubs end February 13 and the new spring afterschool clubs will begin immediately after midwinter break on February 23. Registration opens on Monday, February 9 at 10am and closes on Saturday, February 14 at 9pm. Progress reports: Today progress reports are going home. At CWS we are proud that our teachers take the time to write thorough narrative reports for each student, which go well beyond traditional graded reports. These progress reports are a great tool to see how your child is doing in school, and to set the stage for family conferences, which will happen later this spring. Please sign and return the comment sheet in your child’s report envelope.

Photos Make-up/Retakes Siblings: If you want your child to have photo make-up, retakes, and/or sibling photos on Tuesday, February 10, you must sign up in advance in the Google Form.

Lost and Found: Unclaimed items in the lost and found will be donated on Friday, February 13. Please check the lost and found – it is overflowing with jackets, gloves, hats, water bottles, lunchboxes, and more!

• Friday, February 27 – Movie Night, door open at 5pm and movie begins at 5:30pm “Space Jam”
• Thursday, March 19 – PROSE ½ day 11:30am pickup for all students
• Friday, March 20 – No school
