Dear Families,

Just one more week of school until spring break. We’re still learning though, and there are many great field trips happening for our students! Thank you to Scott and Louise’s class for their play adaptation of Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People’s Ears at community meeting this morning. 

CWS is trying to get a STEM lab! If you haven’t already voted in the District 2 Participatory Budgeting process, please vote today! Anyone aged 11 and up can vote, even if you live in another district, as with a child in school at CWS you are considered to have a “special connection to this district.”

Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts on CWS on the annual school survey. A form went home that you can mail in the prepaid envelope, or you can take it online between now through April 11. Your access code is a lowercase “f” followed by your child’s nine-digit OSIS number.

• Thursday, June 5 – Friday, June 6: No School (Anniversary Day/Clerical Day)
• Monday, June 9: Half-Day 11:30 pickup for all students (Prose Professional Development)
• Thursday, June 19: No School (Juneteenth)
• Thursday, June 26: Last Day of School!
