Happy Friday! Today was a special community meeting as we shared the book many of the teachers of CWS and I have been writing over the years called “In Their Own Voices: Let the People Who Do the Teaching Do the Talking.” We are proud to share what we have learned over the past 31 years at CWS! And thank you to some students from Chairin’s class who shared their soapbox speeches with us!
Next Friday, May 23 is a prose half-day with 11:30am pickup for all students, and there is no school the following Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day.
The lost and found is overflowing and will be donated to charity next Friday, May 23. Please see the pictures attached here and encourage your child to stop by the second floor to look for any missing belongings.
I hope your family will join us tomorrow, Saturday, May 17 for the Arts & Science Fair hosted by the PTA. This event will run from 11am-3pm at school with fun activities for the whole family.
