Happy Friday! This week was a great one. At this morning’s community meeting Jess and Louise’s kindergarten class led us in song, we watched a great skit from Miriam’s Secrets of Our Building’s Past afterschool club, and the meeting was led by a fifth grader, our Principal for the Day – bravo to you all! The three office turtles also moved into their new homes in the hydroponics lab – check out their new spacious tanks in the attached pictures.
As a reminder, there is no school on Monday, May 29. The food pantry will continue to be open on Tuesdays from 8-8:45am, 2:30-3pm, and 4:15-4:40pm. The last day of the food pantry will be Tuesday, June 20.
The 1st/2nd grade and 4th grade classes have been studying dance this year through our great partnership with Third Street Music School. We will host a special Tuesday community meeting with a dance recital on Tuesday, June 13 at 9:30 for these classes to perform. Grown-ups are welcome to attend. The next day, Wednesday, June 14, is the all-school picnic. This day will be the regular school hours, and a separate letter will be sent home with details about the picnic.
