Dear Families,

We did it!!! Happy end of the school year!!!

This year our students shined as our teachers and staff encouraged them to achieve their best. Our parents and guardians engaged with us through field trips, family visits, writing celebrations, and fundraisers to support amazing programming like yoga, art, and music. Our school community also welcomed 52 new students this winter, and our community quickly mobilized to provide clothing, food, strollers, and other necessities. These students and their grown-ups quickly became part of our CWS family, and we saw play as the universal language of children. We truly are a family under one sky!

Thank you to each and every one of you for making this school year so amazing!

For our continuing students, we will reach out via Bloomz in late August with teacher assignments. Please keep an eye on Bloomz and your email over the summer. 

The next school year will begin on Thursday, September 7. The 2023-2024 school year calendar is available. 

Due to construction, the school building will be closed throughout the summer. We do not host summer programming at CWS. For information on Summer Rising, please reach out to the DOE directly.

Free breakfast and lunch is available to all children 18 and under beginning Wednesday, June 28 and throughout the summer. Menus, locations, and hours to visit are available.
