Dear Families,

There is no school tomorrow Thursday, June 6 and Friday, June 7. It was a short but good week. A big thank you to all the families who organized and attended the Arts and Science Fair on Sunday, it was a great day!

While there is no school tomorrow, Thursday, June 6, the DOE has requested that all NYC schools try a “stress test” of the online system to try to avoid the system crash that occurred during our remote day in February. This will involve students and teachers all logging in on June 6 at 9am. If you are able to login to Google Classroom using your student’s email address we would greatly appreciate it.

On Tuesday, June 18 we will host the fun run and all all-school picnic at East River Park. Please mark your calendars and join us for this fun day!

Mark your calendars:

  • Thursday, June 6 and Friday, June 7 – no school (clerical days for staff)
  • Thursday, June 6 – 9am brief remote learning login trial
  • Friday, June 14 – Dress-up day (video game/movie character day)
  • Monday, June 17 – no school (Eid al-Adha)
  • Tuesday, June 18 – Fun Run and All-School Picnic
  • Wednesday, June 19 – no school (Juneteenth)
  • Friday, June 21 – Moving Up Ceremony for 5th Grade Students and Families (will be live-streamed)

Only 11 days of school to go! Enjoy your long weekend.
