Dear Families,
Happy half-day Friday! This week was full of busy activities.
Congratulations to our fifth graders for showcasing their Civil Rights and Slavery Museum projects to the school. The students did an excellent job explaining their projects to all of our students PreK through fourth grade, and the fifth grade families. I was especially proud of our students for translating all of their work from English into Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian so that all of our students could enjoy them.
The following classes started their yoga practice this week: Helen, Jeff, Miriam, Chairin, Molly/Crystal, Luis/Jessica, Aliceyn/Ally, and Elyssa/Kimberly.
This week Taylor & Kiara’s and Scott’s classes visited New Victory Theater to see Zephyr.
Elyssa & Kimberly’s class did a great job sharing about their animal welfare unit with the school at community meeting today.
And many of our students participated in today’s dress up as a book character today.
March was a very full and wonderful month!
Spring break starts next week! School will be closed beginning Thursday, April 6 and will stay closed through Friday, April 14. School will reopen on Monday, April 17.
