January 29, 2021

Dear Colleagues,

As you know, last night we launched our 2021 State of the City video and the Recovery For All of Us plan. If you haven’t already, we’re encouraging all of you to take some time to watch the video and read the plan at RecoveryForAll.nyc.gov, and to share this plan with your fellow New Yorkers.

The plans and policies we will champion this year touch every corner of our city. From schools to criminal justice, from the climate to the economy, from vaccinations to racial justice, everything we do in 2021 will be about ensuring a recovery that truly is for ALL of us — for every New Yorker in every neighborhood in every borough.

At the end of an historic first month of a new year, we want to again commend you for all that you did in 2020 and what we will do beyond. It’s not an overstatement to say your efforts saved lives. As we turn the page and confront the challenges of 2021, we want all of you to have the values of our Recovery For All of Us plan at the heart of the work you do every day.

It’s an honor to fight alongside you. Thank you for all you do.

Mayor Bill de Blasio & First Lady Chirlane McCray
