Dear Families,

Happy Friday! Despite a wet start today and community meeting going virtual, this has been a joyous week watching our students continuing to learn and thrive with their peers and teachers. It has also been wonderful listening to many students share their joy in receiving their first COVID vaccine. Together we can end this pandemic! In addition to the other health benefits of vaccination, once students are fully vaccinated they will not be required to quarantine if exposed to a positive case. You can schedule a vaccine appointment for your child here.

As the days get colder we have developed quite a huge lost and found stack! There are many lost warm coats, jackets, hats, and water bottles in the lost and found. The bin is in the lobby. Please make a point to check the lost and found no later than the end of Wednesday, November 17. On the 18th we will be donating all remaining items. Also please remember to label all of your child’s belongings in case they get misplaced during the school day.

This Sunday, November 14 the CWS PTA is hosting the Harvest Festival from 11:00am to 3:00pm in the CWS schoolyard. Activities include: superhero station, decorate a canvas tote, hair station, Day of the Dead station, photo booth, live music, food and beverages, and more! Due to space constraints, we are only able to welcome CWS families to this event. $20 suggested donation. Please come out, enjoy the day of activities, food and fun, and support the school.

Thursday, November 18 – PTA General Meeting at 6:15pm
