Happy Friday! We had another wonderful morning performance during this first week of Black History Month of our Honoring the Dream series with Suma’s class, Susan’s class, and Jessica/Luis’ class. You can view their performances here.
I’m thinking today of Janus, the Roman god of transitions, with her two faces – one looking backward and one looking forward. We are almost at our half-way point for the school year. What a few months it has been! I am continually impressed how our students have been learning and engaging at school, and how our teachers and staff have been working tirelessly to support them — especially in the midst of this ongoing pandemic. Progress reports will be going out in the next couple of weeks, and I encourage you to use these helpful tools as guides to how we can look forward. What progress can we make, together, between now and June?
A few other quick updates:
There will be no school from February 21-25 due to mid-winter break.

Please message me on Bloomz if your child, or anyone in your household, tests positive for COVID, or if your child is exposed to a COVID-positive person outside of school, so that I may offer personalized guidance.
